Mortgage
provider John Charcol has announced that it uses
Moneyfacts for its
mortgage sourcing .
The
company believes that it is "paramount" for
mortgage lenders to have a reliable system for its
mortgage sourcing.
Ray Boulger, senior
technical manager at John Charcol, commented: "I have used Moneyfacts Datascreen for several years and although no system is 100 per cent accurate, I have been very impressed both by its high levels of accuracy and the
news updates.
"For an independent
broker genuinely looking at the whole
market, it is essential to have up-to-date news and product information on every
lender ."
Mr Boulger also went on to say that
email updates received direct from mortgage
lenders and Moneyfacts’
mortgage news service, provide valuable information to help the company stay informed.
He added that an
online system is effective for checking available products in a rapidly changing
mortgage market, as it provides constantly updated information.
While many experts predicted that the mortgage market is slowing, following a drop in the number of approvals to 106,000 in April,
Alliance and Leicester has stated that the prices are still accessible for
first-time buyers .
